Qualified Kaiako

 

Qualified Kaiako - we want you! Our team is looking for a superstar to join us in early 2023.

Our Philosophy

What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.

We are a newly established, privately owned Puna Reo located in Wainuiomata, nestled amongst the beauty of Tane Mahuta. The centre caters to 25 children, 5 under 2's, and operates from 8am - 4pm.

We are a small but mighty team, and pretty amazing if you ask us.

Our ideal superstar Kaiako;

  • Registered qualified teacher

  • Passionate about te ao Māori

  • Ability to speak Te reo Māori would be an advantage

  • Holds a current First Aid certificate

  • Must be enthusiastic with a great sense of humour

  • Knows how to have fun while getting the job done

Unqualified Kaiako

Are you amazing with children? And ever thought about making a career out of it?

With a shortage of Kaiako within Early Childhood Education - we want to play our part in supporting new kaiako to grow our industry.

Our ideal superstar Kaiako;

  • Experience caring for children is preferred.

  • Committed to studying

  • Passionate about te ao Māori

  • The ability to speak Te reo Māori would be an advantage, but someone who is keen to learn alongside our tamariki, whanau and staff could be considered.

  • Holds a current First Aid certificate an advantage.

  • Must be enthusiastic with a great sense of humour

  • Knows how to have fun while getting the job done
